So, I haven't written in a while!

So, I haven't written in a while, so I may as well now. I don't know what to write about so I will just talk about writing something. Because, as I keep writing stuff it looks like I wrote something.

Doug Baldwin: What the Heck?

What the heck happened to Doug Baldwin? He went from this classy guy who was the underdog everyone was rooting for to this self-proclaimed "underrated nobody" who let stardom and success go to his heart. That's harsh to say, and definitely something I never thought I would say. But, it has become true. I remember when he blocked the punt against the Rams back in 2011 he became my favorite player, I don't know why but he did. Maybe because just how much I respected his trying. The next year he got a Facebook, and was a legit guy. I remember he would reply to Facebook posts on his wall, and Facebook messages. He replied to a few of mine and I respected him for that. Also he used his Facebook to proclaim the great love of the Lord. Which is super cool. Now move on to a few weeks ago, after the NFC Championship game. He had this huge (unnecessary) rant about how he was "f***** underrated, and how people should stop treating the WR core like s***". Not only does that not sound like the loving Christian that was so awesomely portrayed the year prior, it made him look idiotic. No one was calling the Seahawks WR core horribly bad. And if they were, don't go on some lame rant, prove it on the field. Fast forward two weeks to the Super Bowl. Chris Matthews surely played well above his expectations, just proving you don't need to go on a rant about it. Then Doug had the real dagger through his case of being a cocky guy. When he scored he pooped out the ball, mimicking Randy Moss infamous mooning. Not only did this cause a penalty, it showed how immature and un-classy he had become. Doug if you're reading this, stop with this underrated boloney. You're as good as you play so prove it by playing good not by saying random, hate filled rants. I miss the old guy who was so nice and genuine. It's getting harder to defend you and your actions.

Pete Carroll Made the Correct Call.

Much to my dismay as a Seahawks fan, the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl in a heartbreaker. On the one, they had two options run the ball up the middle or throw a pass for a TD. About everyone would pick choice A. With Marshawn Lynch the best ground and pound running back in the NFL, it looks like a guaranteed Touchdown. But it wasn't nothing is every guaranteed in the NFL. From the one yard line Marshawn Lynch has scored 1-5 times, that's not a comforting stat. Furthermore, if Marshawn does not make it, the clock continues to run down. Here's how it looks in this useful diagram:

Unfortunately, it didn't work out as planned.

In that being said, the slant passing call was a bad idea. They should have ran a Play Action pass and then rollout to the right, and throw it to the TE, or throw it away, or rush a TD. All in all it's just a game.

Lame Superpowers that are Actually Awesome

Some super powers find themselves being the end of bad jokes. What Super Power do you want? "The ability to be invisible when no ones looking" or, "The ability to turn other trees into Christmas trees" or, "the ability to prevent anyone from outbidding you." All these are those fake super powers that people say trying to be funny. But actually, they are great super powers.

3. The ability to turn other trees into Christmas trees.

At a first glance, this power seem useless. Who needs this power, and why? Well to make millions of course! It never says what type of tree you need to use, and it never says the state of the Christmas tree, so what you do is you plant a bunch of cheap trees (like thousands of trees at a dollar each), and then use your power on the tress to turn them into Christmas trees. Then sell them at 100 dollars near Christmas time.

2. The ability to be invisible when no one is looking.

This power is what got me thinking! At first this one seems completely useless. Who needs to be invisible if no one sees you? But think about! It's perfect! You'll always know when someone is looking at you because you'll be visible! So if you're ever feel like someones watching you, but you're invisible they're not watching you. But if you are visible, they are watching you.

3. The ability to prevent anyone from outbidding you.

This power seems super lame at first glance because we all have this power. Who says you can't stop bidding. But actually this power means that once you bid, no one else can bid. So go to those really cheap bids on Madden or eBay or another bidding place and bid those 1 cent bids. It's perfect, you'll get everything for 1 cent! And if you wanted to, you could resell it for millions!

Hopefully you all have learned that even some of the lamest powers are actually pretty cool

4 year anniversary!

Hey All!

Last week was my four year anniversary! It is crazy that I have been actively writing on this blog for that long. I mean, my life has changed so much, yet this blog remains constant. Not only that but when I first made this blog, I had a bad habit of starting something and then not finishing it. I would maybe post on it for about a week and then stop. I really broke that mold, huh! But I think one of the cooler things is seeing my writing style change so much over the years. Well thank you, everyone who has supported me by viewing my blog at one point or another!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! It's 2015 which means we should all be riding hover boards and wearing laceless Nikes. Is anyone going to see Jaws 19? I heard it's going to be great.

Ok, so if you're completely and utterly confused, I'm referencing Back to the Future. When Marty went into the future it was 2015, which if you don't know, is now.  All joking aside, Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope all of you spend time with your families and have a great time. But I think the most important part is that we need to be reminded of what Christmas is all about! Jesus. That's the whole reason for the season! We need to celebrate the fact that Jesus was born! Without him this world would be in chaos! Merry Christmas!!!
